Apple goes new with their iPod NANO. Things that other devices already had, like the 'shake' feature (I believe on a Sony Ericsson phone), the switch to landscape and portrait is you hold the device different (featured on Apple's touch and phone, but many others too). Now the genius function is on the iPod too, which was included in the latest iTunes 8.0. Apple takes existing patents and uses them in their new machine! Talking about those patents, it's good that they are used and not only just a couple of them all. The new iPod is taller than the previous generation NANO, but it is less wide.
